‘ET’ or ‘HQ’ emission filters are recommended for all laser applications. The essential property of an emission filter in any laser application is adequate attenuation of the laser line(s). Whether a single band, or multi-band, or longpass emission filter, its most important property is sufficient blocking of the laser line(s) being used.


Chroma’s ‘ET’ and ‘HQ’ emission filters provide the steepest transition between transmission of fluorescence signal and blocking of laser illumination. These filters will provide the best performance in laser applications, allowing the worker to detect fluorescence wavelengths as close as possible to the laser wavelength.
