Chroma Technology Corporation is a leading manufacturer of optical components for instrumentation used by the scientific and research community, including life sciences, medical research, pharmaceutical research, and astronomy.

Our filters are not classified as electronic or electrical equipment as defined in the European Union's Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE). A very small percentage of our products are manufactured with optical filter glass that contains hazardous substances that are restricted by the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and Directive 2011/65/EU RoHS (RECAST). This optical filter glass is currently RoHS EXEMPT under amendment 2005/747/EC dated 10-21-2005.

Chroma is continually working towards elimination of regulated hazardous materials in our products without compromising performance.
