This image was collected using a DeltaVision restoration
microscope (Applied Precision) with a 60X/1.4NA objective
and a CoolSnap HQ2 CCD camera, and deconvolved using
SoftWoRx software. It shows 2 recently divided daughter HeLa
cells starting to undergo programmed cell death (apoptosis).
The cells are transiently expressing GFP-tagged RepoMan
(green), a protein implicated in cell survival. The cells were
fixed and stained with antibodies raised against alpha-tubulin
(red) and with Hoechst 33342 to visualize DNA (blue).
