Kidney tissue collected on a Leica SP2 confocal microscope with a 63x/1.32 objective with a confocal zoom of 2. Excitation was done with 351, 488 and 594 lasers. The data were deconvolved using Huygens software from SVI. The microscope is equipped with the following 3 Chroma filters: Dapi 31001, FITC 41001, Texas Red 41004. Although these are not used during confocal imaging, they are used for observation and in choosing the material to be imaged. The labels are DAPI (nuclei), Alexa 488 wheat germ agglutinin (glomeruli and tubules), and Alexa 568 Phalloidin (Actin).
